Tirionfa Care Home is registered with CIW to accommodate up to 11 elderly persons. The home has been offering a high standard of care to the elderly since 1988 and has been owned by the current providers since then.
Tirionfa is situated in a picturesque area of the Upper Dee Valley. Llandderfel is a thriving community of which Tirionfa is a part of. It consists of the local community centre, which has regular activities and the local church. There is also The Bryntition Inn, a local public house and restaurant for those able to go out independently or with their loved ones. LLandderfel is located on the outskirts of Bala, the village is serviced by the local bus service, which runs frequently to Bala, Dolgellau, Wrexham and Chester.
Tirionfa has 9 single bedrooms and a double room. All rooms are nicely decorated and fully furnished however, we do encourage residents to bring in smaller articles of their furniture, their favourite chair, a television, pictures and ornaments to personalise their rooms. All bedrooms have washing facilities with a wash basin and vanity unit.
All bedrooms also include a call system, radiators with their own thermostat controls and a television point.
There are communal areas within the home on the ground floor, this includes: a large lounge and entrance hall alongside a dining room. The large lounge can be used to entertain residents and visitors- within this room, there is a television, piano, music player and a warm fire.
There are also two bathrooms and two toilets situated throughout the home. Downstairs consists of a separate toilet with sink basin, followed by a separate bathroom which includes a toilet, sink basin and a bath which offers support with a winch-lifting chair.
Upstairs, there is a large bathroom with a toilet and sink basin, a separate shower area and again a further separate toilet with a sink basin.
